Mercedes-Benz of Milton Keynes hosted a ‘Truly Festive Fayre' in aid of MKSnap at their world-class showrooms in Kingston last Thursday. Over 300 people enjoyed shopping heaven for the festive season, forty stalls and fun competitions, a bazaar of glamorous clothes, dazzling accessories, inspirational gifts and scrumptious delicacies all provided by local businesses.

Fund raising competitions on the night included a roll-a dice competition to win a smart car; the nearest throw received a consolation bottle of champagne. Waitrose sponsored a wine and cheese tasting and a pink champagne raffle for a case of champagne.  Mercedes-Benz provided an ML-Class for a weekend drive won by Anne Allen from Extracare. Each stallholder provided a wonderful gift to swell the Grand Draw on the night, which alone raised almost £800.

Commenting on the event managing Director Warren Brearley said, " This is the third year running that we have held this style of event for MK Snap and we are delighted to have raised almost double the money for the charity this year. This year the shopping experience seemed as popular with the men as with the women and we were delighted that so many people turned out to support us. We are also very grateful to the Taipan restaurant for providing an excellent Oriental buffet for our guests, which added a new dimension to the event."
